The MoU was signed at Goesan Natural Dream Park, Korea, on October 1st, during a visit by 40 senior managers from Malaysian cooperatives to hold a workshop as part of the 2024 International Training Program for Managers of Co-operatives in Malaysia operated by ANGKASA. The agreement outlines the commitment of both parties to work together on business activities, with an emphasis on shared cooperative principles. The MoU was signed by iCOOP’s director, Kim Ah-young, and ANGKASA board member Assoc Professor Dato Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdul Razak Shaik. Through this partnership, the two organizations hope to promote mutual trade, education, and training, as well as to spread the Lifecare movement, which encourages the prevention of chronic diseases like cancer and fosters healthy lifestyles.
During their visit to Korea, the Malaysian delegation also participated in a series of workshops and tours, which included visits to Goesan’s Anticancer Food Research Institute, food production facilities, and the Suwon Healing Center. The program deepened the group’s understanding of iCOOP’s holistic approach to health and sustainability. Over the course of the two-week training, the participants gained a deeper understanding of iCOOP’s Lifecare movement. This initiative focuses on promoting healthy lifestyle habits that not only benefit individuals but also contribute to the protection of the global environment. The Lifecare movement goes beyond iCOOP’s eco-friendly organic food business by encompassing broader principles of sustainability and well-being. Through lectures, workshops, and tours, participants were exposed to innovative practices such as carbon healing agriculture, anticancer food production, and community-based health initiatives.
